Little Egg Planters

Here is a little garden project:
Save your egg shells, place dirt in shell, add seeds, keep dirt moist and from each shell a mini garden emerges! I did this with my two year old and we both enjoyed watching our lettuce seeds grow. When it's time to transplant, the soil slides out easily and the shell can be added to the soil to added extra nutrients to your garden.

I also recycle plastic containers from the nursery to plant my own seeds in. Here is some more lettuce for my mini garden!

  1. I love this idea! Plus it is beautiful to look at.

  2. This was such a fun project for us! Thank you!
